AA Resources for Healthcare and Treatment Professionals
Healthcare professionals, counselors, therapists, social workers, and treatment providers who work with individuals struggling with alcohol use disorders share a common goal with Alcoholics Anonymous: helping people achieve and maintain sobriety while building healthy, productive lives.
Why Work with Alcoholics Anonymous?
Alcoholics Anonymous has been supporting the professional community for over 85 years through our policy of “cooperation but not affiliation.” We provide evidence-based resources and support that complement professional treatment approaches, offering your clients ongoing support that research shows significantly improves long-term recovery outcomes.
Alcoholics Anonymous is grateful to the many professionals who have supported the A.A. program of recovery. Thousands of us owe our lives to them, and our debt of gratitude knows no bounds. A.A. is in a position to serve as a resource to you through its policy of “cooperation but not affiliation” with the professional community.
