Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous’ program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers.
This is a 90 minute speaker discussion Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with a wonderful setting within the redwood forest of Big Sur. The chairperson shares during the first part of the meeting, we take a short break and then resume for the discussion portion of the meeting. The group generally meets outside with chairs circled beneath the redwoods. During rain or colder weather we meet inside the building.

Drive 24.5 miles south of the Hwy 1 and Rio Rd intersection in Carmel. Shortly after you pass the Roadhouse Restaurant on your right, you will come to a bridge (Juan Higuera Creek Bridge). Make a hard right turn onto the road (Grange Rd) at the south end of the bridge and that road leads to the Big Sur Grange Hall. The image on this page shows the entrance to the road.
